Pan.a.ce.a signs with Susquehanna Entertainment |
Susquehanna Entertainment is proud to announce its newest management client, Pan.a.ce.a. The contract was signed Sept. 30th at the Harrisburg office of Rhoads & Sinon LLP, with the band's attorney Marc T. Levin present. Pan.a.ce.a, a melodic, hard rock band based in Bloomsburg, PA, is a staple of the Northeast PA club scene. Their most recent album, All Or Nothing, will be re-released on the Susquehanna Entertainment label with the single “I Never” going to radio in January. The band has already sold several thousand copies of their two previous CDs, and a new album is slated for a June 2009 release. As with their earlier work, this recording will be produced by Bret Alexander (member/producer of The Badlees) who has produced and recorded many other area bands, including Breaking Benjamin's first CD which led to their major label deal. The core members of Pan.a.ce.a are Tim Farley (vocals), Paul Young (guitar) and Kevin Harry (drums). The group is searching for an additional guitar player; and it has not yet been determined if their current bass player, Ed Glazenski, will be able to stay with the band. Anyone interested in auditioning for the band as a second guitarist or bass player should contact Susquehanna Entertainment as soon as possible. Susquehanna Entertainment is an artist management and independent record company owned by Terry Selders. Mr. Selders is best known as the manager of The Badlees throughout the 1990’s, releasing that band’s CDs independently until they signed with Polydor/A&M in 1995, and then overseeing their career through two major label releases and several national tours. He left the business in 2000 to deal with family issues, but returned to launch his new label with The Central-PA Christmas Compilation in 2004. Then earlier this year, he re-entered management by signing the Giants Of Despair, a virtual super-group of Central PA-based professional musicians. Several album projects as well as a book about the Central and Northeast PA music scene are in the works for next year.
