Stephen Moniak

Stephen Moniak is an experienced member of the firm's Business Litigation, Employment and Labor Law, Education, and Appellate practice groups. He regularly represents clients in complex business and employment litigation in state and federal courts throughout Pennsylvania, and has handled cases in Maryland, Virginia, Ohio, Florida, Texas, Missouri, and Maine.

In his practice, Steve has represented clients in litigation involving employment matters ranging from wage and hour class action litigation to discrimination cases. Steve has also represented clients in litigation involving employee benefits, employment covenants, executive compensation, health care, trademarks, patents, trade secrets, corporate control, business torts, fraud, RICO, products liability and many other issues arising under state and federal laws.

Successfully obtaining judgments for national banks in federal court litigation involving alleged predatory lending practices

Representing an employer in a class action lawsuit brought by employees for minimum wage and overtime compensation under the Pennsylvania Minimum Wage Act

Representing local school districts in county and appellate courts in Pennsylvania

Representing a snack food manufacturer in a product liability case stemming from a nationwide recall of a popular snack food bar

Prior to joining Rhoads & Sinon, Steve practiced in a large office of a top 100 law firm where he concentrated on litigation and employment matters. Active in his community, Steve regularly participates in community events and has been active on various boards.
