James E. Ellison James Ellison is an experienced member of Rhoads & Sinon LLP's litigation and education law practice. He has represented corporate and municipal clients in a wide range of litigation matters involving commercial disputes, construction claims, civil rights defense, labor and employment issues, school law and personal injury. Mr. Ellison has litigated matters in state and federal courts, as well as various state agencies such as the Board of Claims and the State Charter School Appeals Board. He has also prosecuted and presided over public school personnel actions and local agency proceedings. He is former General Counsel to the Harrisburg School District and the Harrisburg Authority. Currently, Mr. Ellison serves as Solicitor for the Coatesville Area School District and Central Dauphin School District, as well as Chairman/Chief Executive Officer of the Harrisburg Authority. Mr. Ellison was featured on the cover of Harrisburg Magazine’s January issue as one of the “2007 Movers & Shapers” selected by the publication, which cited his community involvement and passion for education.
