John M. Coles John M. Coles is a member of the firm’s General Business and Banking and Securities Practice Groups. He regularly assists developers, landowners and other business clients with a variety of commercial real estate and general corporate issues, including such matters as the purchase and sale of commercial real estate, commercial leasing, planned communities, condominiums and the financing of all types of commercial real estate transactions. He has also successfully represented clients involved in real estate tax assessment appeals throughout eastern Pennsylvania. Mr. Coles has also provided counsel on corporate law matters, including entity formation, mergers, and stock and asset acquisitions. Mr. Coles also has experience in bankruptcy and workout situations, and works regularly with the firm’s commercial landlord clients who have been faced with tenant bankruptcies. He has also defended clients faced with bankruptcy preference claims and other adversary proceedings.
