Although our offices are located in downtown Harrisburg, Rhoads & Sinon LLP attorneys practice in communities throughout the greater central Pennsylvania region, including Lancaster, York, Gettysburg, Hershey, Lebanon, Reading, Carlisle, Chambersburg, and State College. Harrisburg is ideally located in the Middle Atlantic region on the banks of the Susquehanna River, a short drive to a number of major metropolitan centers, including Baltimore (80 miles), Philadelphia (110 miles), Washington, D.C. (125 miles), New York City (170 miles) and Pittsburgh (200 miles). As the state capital of Pennsylvania, Harrisburg combines the cultural and business advantages of an urban commercial and government center with the warm and caring surrounding communities associated with Central Pennsylvania. This unique variety makes the region an ideal place for individuals or families seeking a certain "quality of life" while maintaining an exciting business and cultural environment.
Community Involvement As a firm, we are active with United Way of the Capital Region, and regularly support area cultural events, such as the "Capital Steps" performance at the Harrisburg Forum in November 2000, which we co-sponsored with WITF, the local Public Broadcasting System (PBS) affiliate. The following list provides just a summary of the community activities and organizations with which our attorneys have participated in a leadership role.
